About the WYSO Center

About the WYSO Center

A home for music. A resource for community. A venue for ideas.

Our Story
A home built on harmony and hope.

After decades of rehearsing in borrowed spaces, the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras launched a bold campaign to build a permanent home. The result is the WYSO Center for Music — a 40,000 sq ft space for students, nonprofits, and community partners to create, connect, and grow.

Opened in 2023, the Center is a purpose-built venue designed to inspire creativity and support youth music for generations to come.

Our Mission
Every booking supports Wisconsin’s young musicians.

The WYSO Center is more than a beautiful space — it’s the heart of a statewide youth music program that serves over 500 students annually.

As the home of the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras, every rental supports:

– Tuition assistance for young musicians across the region
– Outreach programs in underserved schools
– The sustainability of Wisconsin’s largest youth orchestra program

When you host your event here, you’re making music possible.
