Where is the WYSO Center?
1118 East Washington Avenue on Madison's east side, a few minutes from Capitol Square.
Is parking free?
Yes. Parking in the WYSO Center lot is free for your guests.
How many people can you host?
From 4 to 180. Marvin Rabin Hall seats up to 180, Founders Hall and Vicki Peterson-Jenks Hall up to 125 each, the three Studios 15 to 40 each, the Conference Room 10 to 12, and the 2nd-floor patio up to 70.
How much does it cost to rent?
The Conference Room is $50/hour, Studios are $95/hour each, Founders Hall and Peterson-Jenks Hall start at $195/hour, and Marvin Rabin Hall starts at $215/hour. Nonprofits pay less on every room. See Spaces & Rates for every room, or request an all-in quote.
Do you offer nonprofit rates?
Yes. Verified 501(c)(3) organizations get reduced rates, and we also offer savings on multi-day bookings and for returning clients.
What AV and equipment is included?
Every room includes Wi-Fi, a projector and screen, wireless mics, and chairs and tables. The Conference Room has a 75-inch display and a webcam for hybrid meetings. On-site AV support can be added.
Can we bring our own caterer?
Yes. Your caterer can use our 1st-floor kitchen or 2nd-floor kitchenette for $50/hour ($35/hour for nonprofits). Coffee and tea service can also be added.
Can we book more than one room?
Yes. Many groups pair a hall with Studios for breakouts, or add the patio for lunch and receptions. We'll put it all in one quote.
Is the building accessible?
Yes. The WYSO Center has ADA-accessible entrances.
Can we see the space before booking?
Yes. Tours take about 20 minutes on weekdays. Book one online and we'll walk you through the rooms and AV.
How quickly will we get a quote?
Within one business day. Tell us your date, headcount and setup, and we'll reply with room options and an all-in quote.
